Did the Angels watch the Superbowl?

(Gospel) The men of Nineveh and the Queen of the South had something in common.
They both got excited about something great - Jonah and Solomon.

If Jesus were telling this story today, he may have mentioned the attention attracted by the Superbowl: the packed stadium, the money, the shows, the TV stations, the ads; the only difference would be - the Superbowl doesn't point - in turn - to anything greater.

Jonah and Solomon were great because they pointed to Christ as prophet and king.

We all know that eternal things matter so much more than the Baltimore Ravens - but when it comes down to it, what excites us more?

Nothing wrong with some good clean fun - I mean, I'm sure there were over 113.92 million  angels watching the Superbowl too. But their interest continued to be the salvation of every. single. soul.
